法国TECHNICAP公司与研究颗粒物通量场的法国科学家共同协作开发了多种型号的沉积物捕获器。它们都采用先进的设计和施工理念，遵循最新的科学建议，采用高品质的塑料和耐腐蚀的金属部件。产品符合美国伍兹霍尔研究所提出U.S.GOFS计划标准。
多种型号的沉积物捕获器可适应不同沉积物通量的环境。收集瓶数量从12到24瓶不等。
PPS3/3（开口面积0.125m2）和 PPS4/3（开口面积0.05m2）收集桶为圆柱形，特别适合于在沉积物通量较高的环境中使用，且体积小巧，适合于小船布放。
PPS5/2（开口面积1m2）和PPS6/2（开口面积0.5m2）收集桶为圆锥形（锥形角36°），适用于深海及大洋等沉积物通量较低的环境中使用。
